Description

AH502 SW45090 is a twin legend sunlight readable LED backlit aircraft annunciator with momentary or latching DPDT switch with customisation of colors and legends.

This lightweight switch weighs less than 1.2 oz. [34g], mounts into a 0.875” [22.3mm] square mounting hole, and requires approx. 2.40” [61.0mm] of space behind the panel.

The switch is rated at 2.0A resistive at 28 VDC. Other features provided by the SW45090 include Momentary Snap Feel switch mechanism, operating pressure of 32 oz. (+ 8 oz.), plunger travel of approximately 0.25” [6.4mm], and a rated switch life of 100,000 minimum actuations.

Aero Safety Systems have optimized the LED circuitry and optics to provide clear Full Daylight readability whilst also achieving a dead face when not illuminated. Through high quality multi-layer silk screen printing on carefully selected diffusers, filters and hard coat anti-glare coatings; high contrast levels and a crisp legend are achieved. Careful attention to thermal management with high quality LEDs ensures long life. As a further safeguard each legend is triple redundant. Each legend can be directly driven with PWM constant current at 50mA. The circuit is also fitted with a current limiting resistors for either 14 or 28 Volts DC systems.

A range of LED color combinations are available, and the diffuser windows can be be engraved to your requirements.

THE AH504 central warning I/O Expansion unit

The AH504 provides an additional 13 switched and 4 analogue inputs to enhance the number of inputs available in the AH500 and AH502SD warning panels. The AH500sd combines flight, engine and aircraft configuration data to generate voice and visual alerts.

The unit is programmed to warn off against switched, analogue and EFIS data inputs based on the switched state, value threshold or combinations of inputs to generate envelope alarms.

Envelope alerts could include oil pressure profiles, speed/ configuration envelopes, gear not down and oxygen alerts.

Data is gathered from directly connected switches and analogue inputs as well as being able to take flight and engine data from Electronic Flight Information Systems (EFIS) and Engine Monitors when available via serial buses.

Alerts are mapped to custom voice and/or sunlight readable and auto dimming captions with integration to a remote Master Caution, Master Warning and alert acknowledgement switch.

The side mounted SD card allows for easy adjustment of programming and voice files.
